I trained for my CPL the way most Indian students do — with more enthusiasm than information. I got there, earned my Flight Instructor rating, and spent time on the other side of the cockpit watching the next wave of students make the same avoidable, expensive mistakes I'd made.

Then I spent sixteen years building businesses — operations, hiring, processes, and more recently over sixty AI systems shipped. That gave me something most pilots don't have: the discipline to build an institution, not just teach a class.

The two halves of that career kept pointing at the same gap. Indian families spend ₹50–80 lakh of life savings sending a child abroad to fly, and the person advising them is almost never a pilot — it's an agent paid a commission by whichever school they steer the student toward. The advice isn't dishonest because the people are bad. It's dishonest because of how it's paid for.

2HH is the correction. We charge for counselling so the advice doesn't have to be bought by a school. We run our own ground school so the relationship starts before any money leaves the country. And we stay through DGCA conversion — the hard, unglamorous part — because a licence earned abroad is worthless until it flies in India.

There's a family thread in this too. My daughter Angel is reading Organisational Psychology at LSE; my brother Sandeep is in the UK. Together we run Krama Labs, and one of its companies — V-Minima — builds the oral-exam practice tool that every 2HH ground school student uses. I tell you that because you should know exactly who you're dealing with and where every interest sits.
